LAKE
The chalet is located on the edge of Lake Gérard. We have private access to the lake, located directly in the backyard of the land. You should bring water shoes if you want to swim and there's a lot of weeds in the lake. There is a dock at your disposal on the field of the chalet.
There is one kayak at your disposal. Motorized boats are not allowed on the lake
You can't fish on the lake. Also, there are several outfitters in the area that offer this service. Visit the Lanaudière website. Don't forget to get the fishing license at the Canadian Tire.

WINTER
Depending on the ice conditions, it is possible to skate on the lake. I ask you to always be careful and to inspect the ice well before stepping on it. You can also visit the municipal ice rink.
You cannot ice fish on the lake. Visit the Lanaudière site to find out about the sites near the chalet that offer this activity.

- Dog Friendly Rules:
We accept a maximum of 1 dog under strict conditions and only with our permission. We are animal lovers but have had bad experiences in the past with owners who did not respect our property, thank you for your understanding.
๏ Additional fees: $100 per stay per dog.
๏ Guests must have at least 1 positive review from a previous experience on Airbnb.
๏ We do not accept young dogs under 1 year old.
๏ Your dog must not exceed 40 lbs.
๏ The cottage must be left clean and in order to facilitate the work of the housekeeping team, it must not appear that a dog was present.
๏ Your dog must be "housebroken", and must under no circumstances gain access to bedrooms or climb on furniture.
๏ Your dog must not cause a noise nuisance for neighbors.
๏ Guests must pick up after the dog at all times and keep the yard clean.

TV
We have one smart TVs with an Apple TV system in the chalet, but do not offer cable channel. You will have access to applications like Netflix, Youtube, Disney + on which you can connect your account.

BBQ
There is a propane bbq and a charcoal bbq at your disposal. The propane will be provided, but you need to bring your own charcoal if you wish to use the second bbq.

FIREPLACE / LOGS
There is an indoor and outdoor fireplace at your disposal. The indoor fireplace is easy to use with propane system. You must bring your wood to use the outside fireplace.

ROAD NOISE
Please note that a road is close to the chalet, so you'll hear car noises and occasional trucks passing by.

GERARD LAKE*
Swimming is possible in Lake Gérard. However, the lake is unsupervised, shallow, and may contain various plants. We recommend wearing water shoes because the bottom may be muddy, and using the single kayak provided for your convenience. For pleasant beaches nearby, you can consult the ''map'' section.
