✦ You will have access to the entire chalet including the outdoor spaces. The land is huge and very intimate.
✦ Upstairs, there is the master bedroom with king bed & balcony (Bedroom A in the photo album) and a second bedroom with queen bed and an office desk. You'll find the full bathroom with glass shower on the upper-level as well.
✦ Downstairs, there is a bathroom in the entrance and a laundry room with cleaning equipment. The rustic open space area present the main living room with smart TV. The couch is also convertible into a Queen bed.

✦ We supply and include the bedding, towels, sanitary and foods basics like coffee, tea, soap, toilet paper, etc. There is a conventional drip coffee machine with filters at your dispositions.
✦ The main patio faces Lake Marie-Louise. There are 20 meters of natural habitat that separate the cabin and the water front. There is a trail that leads to the water access from the property, and with a 5-minute walk. We installed signs on the trees to guide our guest through the path.
✦ There is a relaxation and outdoor dining area sitting 4 guests on the patio. Eat with your group while enjoying the nature. You can also enjoy the outdoor fireplace next to the cabin. The 2 benches around the fireplace are homemade with the wood of the property! BBQ Weber and propane included.
✦ You will have access to a work desk and Wifi. The television has no cable channels, but you will be able to connect to your Netflix account directly on it.
✦ When you book with us, you receive a Guest Manual that contains instructions for enjoying the chalet, as well as nearby shops, restaurants and things to do.

The chalet is located on the shore of Lake Marie-Louise. We have private access to the lake. Swimming is not recommended, you must bring water shoes if you want to swim since the bottom is not maintained. There is a dock at your disposal. There are no boats at your disposal. Motorized boats are authorized on the lake, but you cannot launch your boat from the land.
To put your boat in the water, you must go to the Marie-Louise Lake boat launch. You absolutely must have the boat cleaned by the municipality and obtain the permit. You can consult the website of the municipality of La Minerve.
You can fish on the lake. You have to get the fishing license at the Canadian tire. In the lake, there is gray trout and rainbow trout. Also, there are several outfitters in the area that offer this service.

WINTER
Depending on the ice conditions, it is possible to skate on the lake. I ask you to always be careful and to inspect the ice well before stepping on it. You can also visit the municipal ice rink. The cottage is isolated in nature, and located at:
- 2:30 from Montreal
- 2:20 from Ottawa
- 3:20 from Trois-Rivières
- 4:30 from Quebec City
Other things to note
CAMERAS & NOISE SENSOR
There are security cameras the chalet that overlook the entrance.
Parties are FORBIDDEN at the chalet. We also have a Noise Aware sound device to alert us if the sound level reaches a limit. We are counting on you to maintain a good relationship with the community.
WINTER and ROADS
During cold and snowy weather, we recommend having winter tires + all-wheel drive or a car equipped with studded tires to come to the chalet; the paths are not paved, and there are hills to climb to get to the chalet.
CELLULAR NETWORK
Please note that there's not a strong cellular network at the cottage, but you will have access to wifi. You can catch some signal in the bedrooms sometimes, but it depends on your cellphone company and the weather.
BARBECUE
Due to cold weather during the winter months, our barbecue will be temporarily unavailable between November and April.
FIREPLACE / LOGS
There is an indoor fireplace and an outdoor fireplace at your disposal. I don't provide wood, so if you want to make fires, you should bring some wood. You can buy some near the chalet, in La Minerve village. I will send you the address prior to your arrival.
